When importing in iMovie from my Sony camcorder, I can't get a single file of more of 2,042,784,766 bytes, it is to say 1.995 GB. Why ?
Is it possible to do something ?

Have you upgraded to MacOS 9 yet? File sizes over 2GB were added.

Yes, my Mac is a G4/400 with OS 9.0.4, QT 4.1.2, FireWire 2.4, all brand new (french versions, I mean). Maybe a problem between French system and US version of iMovie ?
Then I tried to export a 12 minute movie directly from iMovie in QT format; it succeeded and gave me a single file of 2.57 GB.
So, I think iMovie import is responsible of that cut at 2 GB.

Have a nice day
