Hi there. I´m new, so please be kind ;-)

Now to my Problem:
I´m using iMovie 2 and Mac OS X to import DV Video to my Powerbook Pismo 400 MHz.
But after a few seconds the software stops importing and shows up a message about to many dropped frames or something.
And it´s right - when i review my imported video file, there are several skips where it seems that some frames where not recorded.

My question is wether this is a common problem with the performance of Mac OS X on a Pismo or the limiting factor may be my Hard Disk that sometimes makes weird ticking or clicking sounds that it didn't make when it was new!

I would truly appreciate any comments or solutions to this issue!

Thanks in advance,
Michael

I have the same problem on my G4/400 (AGP). I am sticking with os9.1 to do my video editing.
