We iMovie users spent 1000 to 2000 Dolar each and purchased an iMovie System. We got iMovie free but we payed Apple at least the same money
FCP users did.
iMovie 2 is having lots of broblems, We are lossing projects, Having Audio pops and beeps, Out of sync problems and more.
We are not asking for new versions, Just let us have the functions we payed for, Work.
With just a small effort, Lot smaller then is invested in FCP you can
make iMovie work as promised.
Apple is planing to sell lots of new iMacs. Without having iMovie, They will never repet the older models success.
Right now, iMovie is not performing like an Apple product. It is easy and friendly, But most unstable and you can easily loose a munth work without even knowing what you did wrong.
iMovie users Back me up, I have behind me 350 !! iMovie users in my country, Need lot more from around the globe to make Apple do something.
Danny.

I've not had any problems with iMovie 2 on OS X. If you are having problems it's possible that it's something to do with your system/setup rather than iMovie itself.

what exactly is the problem you are having?
starting off the post by saying that you've paid as much for your system as FCP users is both incorrect and not helpful.
apple will continue to support imovie because it's one of their breakthru products - easy video editing for the masses. and in general, people don't have too many problems (there are a fair number of imovie threads in here, i admit) with the application.
so please elaborate on the problem you're experiencing (giving us your machine stats, uses, etc..) and we'll see what we can do.

Come on people, Read the posts in iMovie forums on Apple and 2-pop !
Here is the list of the most common problems:
1. Rendomly after saving a project and deliting trash, The project is no longer readble :Corupted Files...Etc. No cure so far.
2. Beeps all along the audio of the imported clips.
3. Strange "bOOP" sounds between cuts.
4. When extracting audio it is 2-8 frames off sync from picture. Try it !
5. Pal users are having trubles with iMovie keeping it's NTSC defolt, They
can't capture.
I am not talking for my self, I am an apple dealer and am taking care of iMovie running oll models of G3, G4, iMacs,iBooks ETC. The Audio bugs are consistant and lossing projects is happening once a day out of 400 systems all together.
Do not get me wrong, I love iMovie and Macs !
Thanks for careing.
