I would like to rip multiple tracks on a CD to a single MP3 file (it is very important that there are no skips or pauses between the segments, and multiple files seems to be problematic in this respect).

So does anyone know of a good program that can do this?

Appreciatively,
omni

what about quicktime (i have qt5pro)...
you could cut & paste each succeeding song behind the first, then save the whole thing (as a self-contained file).

haven't tried this, but i HAVE deleted a segment of a song & saved the shortened version...

then convert it to an mp3 (not sure qt does that...anyone?)

I have used QT Pro on several occasions to merge multiple tracks.

There's also Track Thief that you can rip multiple tracks into one single AIFF. Although it takes quite a lot of harddrive space to do that. Search download sites for Track Thief.
