Ok, this is probably gonna sound a bit lame to some of you DV pro's out there (I am almost a DV virgin, if there is such a thing as almost a virgin? , & no this is not what I used to tell my friends in my early teens, Ok I'm in my mid twenties & I still have'nt stopped giving out that excuse )
Ok back to my question, I have been using DVEdit (By Digital Origin) at Uni, & just as I have become familiar with the software, my Uni has upgraded to Media 100 (which is sort of a good thing & a bad thing depending on how you look at it) & what I need to know is (I bet you thought I'd never get there) if there is any compatibiltiy in project/file types between DVEdit & Media 100, i.e. can I tranasfer footage I am editing between the two programs.
I have just saved up for DV Edit, but there is NO way I can afford Media 100.

I'm looking to buy the software soon, so any help would be appreciated + are there any other DV Edit programs available that have any compatibility with Media 100, also is Media 100 hardware dependent in the same way as Pro Tools is, and finally, I may be able to get hold of Final Cut Pro cheap (how cheap I may tell you in a later post......), again is there any compatibility between FC & Media 100?
