Does anybody know how to get a quality still capture in either FCP or Preimere. I have access to both at school and am using a Canon ZR10 and a blue G3.

Any help would be great.

Well you could open whatever you want to freeze in Quicktime Player (source movie). Then select the frame you would like to be an image then goto "Export" in the "File" menu; there you can choose either BMP or PICT formats to save the frame as.
