I own this model and I love using it where I can't take my bigger cameras. It takes good videos and I have not yet had a problem to date. The question to ask is how much are they asking.
However if I could have bought the Optura that unit I feel is a better in the long run, of course the GL1 and XL1 do beat it yet the smaller cameras have their place too.

I have the Elura2, the immediate predecessor, and I couldn't be happier.

So, i'm almost positive, i'm going to buy the optura 100MC kick ass camera, 1.2 mega pixel stills and excellent reviews. $860 is not bad at all!
P.D.
