Nomad II MG playing speed is too fast

I recently purchased a Nomad II MG MP3 player with 192MBs RAM and when I try to play back a radio show that I recorded using SoundJam it plays back in double speed. Regular MP3 files play fine though.

What I do is record the radio show in MP3 format using SoundJam and it will play back fine in SoundJam, iTunes and other MP3 players, but after I transfer it to the Nomad it plays back at double speed.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
