I'm using dvd studio pro(DSP) to make a dvd-r and write it with a external LaCie drive. I've burnt a smaller dvd before so I know it works but now I come to write the full disc it comes up with data overrun/underrun error (-7918).

The multiplexing is fine and i create the VIDEO_TS file but when it finishes building the disc and goes to format it, the external drive opens up and that message appears.

I guess its something to do with the buffer but I have no idea how to change this and there is nothing in the DSP manual about it.

(I'm using general use dvd-r, g4 powerbook, OS 9)

any help would save my life.......

Also since i burnt the successful one i've been using a LaCie pocket hard drive incase thats what's affected the burner......
