Why, when the Owner of my iMac accesses their desktop, does iTune then claim that I don't have access to my music library? It was installed on my desktop. Anyone have a possible solution to this?

I get this too, but it goes away after a while ... I have no clue why ...

I'm running with Multiple Users and iTunes on my laptop with no problems at all. I am the owner of the machine.

I installed iTunes onto an iMac with Multiple Users and set up the library for a user other than the owner of the machine. This kept coming up with the unable to open your library problem. In the end I gave up and disabled Multiple Users

Just to keep this topic current. . .

Any new thoughts? I would like to have iTunes recognize the mp3's if not the playlists from the main documents folder. Why can't this folder be shared or used by iTunes from a limited user account?

Placing the iTunes folder with the library and music into the shared folder works
