iMovie and os 9.1

Ever since upgrading to 9.1 I have been having trouble with iMovie. The import and export functions work fine, however when playing on my G4/450 the motion is sluggish and shows a weird picture. Again, this is only on the payback mode on the computer itself.

Help.
