iTunes doesn't understand wide displays

I was hoping that Apple would take their new display ratio into consideration with their own software.... But they didn't. When you switch the "Visuals" (which are very cool) to full screen mode, it switches the resolution of the monitor to 800x600 (or 640x480) and just makes the side bands black.

oh well, maybe with version 1.1.
