connecting iMac to a TV

I was wondering what i need in order to connect my imac dvse to my tv. i want to watch DVDs on my TV, thats why. Thanks

You need a scan converter that takes the signal from your iMac's VGA-out port and converts it into something your TV can display. One is the i-TView DV from Focus Enhancements. Outpost.com has it listed for about $130. You'll also need a cable to get the sound from your iMac to the TV (or your stereo).

Or, you could just buy a DVD player for your TV.
