I have a Canon ZR-30 and need to get a Directional Microphone (DM-50) for it. I've found a couple places that have it, but would like to know of good/bad experiences with some of the online vendors. Anyone care to chime in with places to visit/avoid?

When you find great prices online, it's usually too good to be true.
Always check out ResellerRatings.com . If the vendor that you want to buy from is not listed there, they probably aren't worth dealing with.
Also, be sure to leave feedback there about the vendor that you do buy from - positive or negative, it helps everyone.
