I have a Pismo PB with DVD, and have been trying to output the DVD playback to a TV, with mixed results. On a new TV with S-video in, there's no problem - the video is beautiful, but when I try to hook up to a TV with only RCA type jacks, using a S-video to RCA cable, the picture comes through in Black and White only. I've tried fiddling with all different settings as far as the resolution of the PB monitor, of the TV, PAL/NTSC, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sounds like you've got a dud S-Video to RCA cable.

That happened to me too, but when I ran it thorugh a S-video to SCART, it worked fine, seeing that all TVs have Scart-contacts, this might be your answer. Mine came with my DV-camcorder, but you can get one from your local electronics-store I guess...
