I'm trying to use Avid Cinema USB on my new iMac CD-RW 500mhz with 576 mb of ram. The program opens okay, then when it states that it is "Opening Movie" it crashes with a type 1 error.

I've tried:

1) Re-installing the software
2) Updating to the newest version
3) Running with minimum extensions and with all extensions.
4) Doubling the memory of the program.

I'm perplexed because it ran on my old Rev B 233 iMac with only 196 mb of ram.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions (short of throwing the thing out)?

Thanks,

Chad

Sometimes the magic works, sometimes it doesn't...
