iMovie to FCP

Does anybody have an idea of how to switch clips from old iMovie projects to new FCP projects? I find I can just open them in the viewer, but they don't have sound! I have a lot of footage that is irreplacable in iMovie, I really don't want to lose it and I really don't want to use iMovie. TIA.

You have to import the project. It's under file edit and i believe it gives you a choice on if you want to import the entire folder or specific things.
It's just my humble opinion.
