Maybe I've missed something, but does anyone else find it annoying that one must manually add new songs (say those downloaded from napster) into the iTunes window?

Why can't I just select the iTunes library folder as my Napster download folder and iTunes automatically sees those songs? Unfortunately, if I do this, those songs go into the library folder, but iTunes doesn't add them to my library list.

Just me, or is it iTunes?

Just iTunes. I think it is annoying, but not a big problem. When I do that I just select them all and drop them into a blank play list and they are automatically added to the library. I think iTunes 1.1 will have a lot of little fixes. . .at least I hope so.

Ya, iTunes should "watch" its music folder, and update its self automaticly...

We have a "Music" drive on our server ot the office (to keep napster to a minimum) and all users keep there tunes on there.. I have to keep looking in ther to see if new music (added by others) is there.

It should do this automaticly...

I would definitely bet on this being in the next version as well as being able to edit the songs directly from the song list vs. going to the File menu. Currently, I have to keep grayamp on my iMac because this is what I started with. Don't think Apple will want you to have to have more than one player on the machine. :-)

You can edit the songs directly in the playlist. You have to select the song, and then click on the name. Don't do this too quickly though, or all it will do is play the song.
