TechTV's Fresh Gear had a special on film making technologies and did a review of software. The comparison included iMovie 2 and Windows Movie Maker, and the M$ product was slammed when compared to Apple's product.
I especially like the comment: "Comparing Window's Movie Maker to Apple's iMovie 2 is like comparing a sow's ear to a silk purse."

It's hard to suck and blow at the same time, but naturally Microsoft found a way! Windows Movie Maker is a 100% wanna be iMovie 1.0 beta...

It's wonderful to hear that TechTV's being fair. iMovie 2 is totally wonderful. In some ways it's more powerful than Adobe's offering.

You, kind sir, are being entirely too nice to WMM...it is in no way, shape or form comparable to a beta of iMovie.
I've used them both and I know whereof I speak.
