Good morning all together,
recently my QT pro 5.0 didn't play some new mpgs. I thought they might be encoded by the new Sorensen3, now integrated in 5.0.2. QT Software updater indicated wrong installation of QT, "please make new installation". I downloded QT from Apple website (Web install and stand allone installer), I deinstalled (with the installer's "uninstall" option or "by hand") and installed (web, stand alone, starting OS from CD) various times and the result is allways the same: Trying to watch movies in internet (for example trailers from Apple's QT pages) indicates: The QT plug-in requires the system extension version 5.0 or later. QT is available at ....
The software updater from QT control panel still indicates: QT is incorrect installed. Please...
I now cannot watch any movie from the web.
Movies from HD works fine.
Ideas welcome! Thanx in advance
