I have a MiniDisc deck that has a digital output on it. I'd like to have a digital transfer of my music from the MD deck to my Mac. I assume it's possible with the right equipment. Any suggestions on what I'd need to buy? A new sound card or something? I have a B&W G3 tower with two slots opne.

does your MD deck have S/PDIF outputs or coaxial? if you have S/PDIF, you could use something like this Roland/Edirol UA 3:

it's a USB interface box with digital in/out, analog in/out, and mic in.
