Hi, i've downloaded many movie clips recently and they have all been incredibly dark, and basically not watchable on my Rev A iMac.
I've tried using quicktime 4, and quicktime 5 (latest version), but it is equally dark in both. Also, my monitors control panel isn't even working and it gives me the error "AppleGuideGluLib could not be found". I have used the adobe gamma control panel though, and it does seem to work well for anything _but_ playing movies in quicktime. I did manage to somehow once get it bright and nice, but it would only be like this at 800x600 and not any other resolutions.
What can i do? I've also tried editing the brightness by using quicktime 5, but this makes everything extremely choppy and unwatchable. mind you, it does fix the brightness quick well. I've also tried saving it when i've edited the brightness, but it still plays back choppy.
Any suggestions?
