Which clips have been used in FCP?

I am a long time Premiere user and just started using FCP. I have batch captured about 50 clips and have started inserting them into a sequence. I am trying to find a way to show which clips I have added already and which ones I have not. Premiere put a reel icon next to the ones that were used. Am I missing something or can't this be done?
