At first, Quicktime 3 was giving me problems
'cause whenever I open a movie file from my
zip disk or at a URL site, my computer freezes up and I had to reboot it. When I d/l (Download) the new Quicktime 4, everything was going smoothly until when I d/l THE MUMMY trailer I get this message that says' I need this particular plug-in and gave me an option if I want it or not. So I click YES and the d/l began but during that time, I got this message saying INSTALLER HAS PERFORMED AN ILLEGAL OPERATION AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN. I was quite upset by it but was even more upset when the next night I try to open THE PHANTOM MENACE, my comp FROZED! This is really ridiculous and I just hope that Apple would somehow find a solution to this. I'm pretty sure all of you are having similar problems like I am. If anyone has solutions as to how to fixed this problem, please let me know. Thanks.
