Does anyone know how to duplicate audio CDs entirely, preferably without using iTunes? I want to preserve all the pauses/lack of pauses that are on the original CD.

In other words, a quick and easy way to create duplicate album CDs to keep in the car. I'm guessing someone out there knows how to do this... any help appreciated.

If you're using Mac OS X 10.1, simply use Disk Copy to make an image of the source CD, then burn the image onto a new CD. This will result in a burned CD which is bit-for-bit identical to the original one.

Toast would be the easiest way.

If you don't want to spend the money, set importing in iTunes to AIFF (so you don't lost quality) and set the gap between tracks to NONE.
