Last weekend I extracted tracks from a certain CD, then burned them onto a CD-R, then deleted them from my HD. I subsequently re-initialized my HD, built a few partitions and re-installed OS 9.2.2. All is well, except for this, which isn't treoublesome, but just plain weird:
Last night I extracted tracks from a different CD, and the process got hung up on a certain track, so that I had to force Toast to quit. That particular track was the right size (33MB or so), so I played it through SoundJam. The track plays as expected for about 2:30, and then the audio becomes part of a track from that first CD I burned last weekend!! Again, I trashed that file, and re-initialized the whole disk it was on.
Can anyone tell me how this could happen?
