poor quiality before resize...

Strange problem I haven't heard anyone else complain about. Until I resize the window a movie is playing in under QT 4 the picture has a strange sort of staticy look. I get this from the MoviePlayer or IE or Netscape. However, as soon as I resize the window (bigger or smaller) the fuzzyness goes away and it plays beautifully.
I've seen a bunch of PCs w/ QT 4 and none of them have this problem. Haven't seen another Mac.
