i am having a problem that hopefully someone can help me with. when i
compose titles in imovie they look fne on the imovie screen when using
the slider to forward or reverse through the movie.

however, when i PLAY the movie, the text looks awfully jagged and
unappealing. i also think it renders jaggedy when exporting to quicktime.

can anyone help?

thanks in advance.

I use iMovie and iDVD all the time.

I thought the same thing the first time I did it.

I was hesitant to even burn a DVD. But, I threw caution to the wind and did it anyway---it turned out perfectly.

So, I just ignore it.
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

Well.... iMovie is ment to make movies for viewing on TV... that is why it looks just fine on a TV.

The text output is meant for TV. On TV it's crisp and perfect.

On screen and in QuickTime is is jagged. On screen, just ignore it. In QuickTime, you will have to futz around with compression schemes to try improve the text. Make the text bigger for QuickTime output, it helps.
