Anyone out there still use a nubus video vison?
I need some advice setting one up in an 8100 - 80 to compliment my imac 500
and g4 cube as an analog input-output station - digitise on the VV and
render (using softstudio) with the faster newer boxes.
So far I have:
72 mb ram
Atto silicon express 4 with 2x fujitsu 4 gb fast wides
Radius VV studio nubus
Running 8.1 and quicktime 3 - went back to these on advice.
It works - but dropping frames badly - the "find" data rate function is
telling me my drives are only capable of 2 mb/sec even though atto's
performance utility says they are capable of around 8mb/sec.
ALSO - there's a guy who seems to have bought a bunch of the last VV cards -
I'm buying a telecast from him at an insanely low price - anyone want his
email address?
