I'm in an awful quandry. My Dell PC with WinNT 4.0SP5 kills QT4.0.3 on a regular basis. I can tell when it's dead when the following things happen:

1) Streaming movies on web pages don't play

2) When I use QuickTime Player, the title of the file shows up all by itself as a gray title without any window at all.

3) The little graphic in the QuickTime control panel disappears and the words no longer scroll (on the About QuickTime screen).

I have continuously reload QT. It works for about a day and then something kills it. I'm sure it's some DLL problem and I bet if I just reinstalled the affected DLL it would stop, but I have no idea where to look.

Is *anyone* having this problem? If you want to take a stab I'll be happy to provide all the technical details you could want.
