I swear to god that one time I exported a sound sample (Made from a CD) to MIDI format. I can't figure out how i did it or how to do it again, but I need to make MIDIs for web page background music, and i need to make them out of recorded sound files. ANyone have any ideas how i can do this????

SoundApp should do it... http://www-cs-students.stanford.edu/~franke/SoundApp/

that is, you can rip a sound file from CD with a ripper app and convert it to MIDI with SoundApp, I believe...
