Is the Apple server just bogged down or what? I downloaded the QT4.1 installer from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
and when I run it, I immediately get an error after choosing *any* of the install options and putting in my name (I am not a QT Pro owner ...). TIA.

Can anyone direct me to a site where I may download the full Quicktime 4.1 installer for Windows? I've got the Mac version.

Either post the link here or email me at jon@visionbreed.com, I'd appreciate it alot.

I need the full version of qt so I can install it on a computer without an internet connection. I tried to download the whole qt 4.1 installer from the link above but it took me to the normal quicktime download page, and I am not a OS 9 user so I can not access iTools. Can anybody help me?

thanks - spencer

Did you try:
http://download.info.apple.com/priva...taller.smi.bin

I would think that would download the entire installer (it did for me). Hopefully they haven't changed the setup ... - Rick.

I tried that link and the first time i tried it it started to download, but I cancelled it because I didn't have time to download it at the time. I came back in an hour and it would not download, instead it took me to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

this is great if you've had problems with 4.1

I wonder if it's worth the trouble to update to 4.1? I read that the only thing they "updated" was to make it easier for people toinsert adverts into quicktime streaming files. Sounds real useful to me!

I've also gotten problems using Apple's Quicktime auto-downloader program. What's the deal here? It said something about Auto-Vise i believe. If anyone has any thoughts on this, please inform me. Thanks. Oh yeah, i saw the link for the full version, thanks, and even though I'm getting it now, I'm a little bothered by the fact that I can't use the program APPLE is giving out.

vise-installer errors have happened to me using QT Updater, BUT i have always had success by just trying the process again right after getting the error.
