What is the best way to compress an Imovie to Quicktime for use on a PC?

I haven't used iMovie much, but I think you can export what you've edited as a QT movie.
Then I suppose you could email it.

Yes, you can export it to Quicktime however there seems to be two problems with this.

If your Quicktime file is over 1MB can it still be attached to an e-mail? Is there another way to send a Quicktime movie over the web?

Also my friends with PC cannot seem to open this movie. What is the proper compression in Quicktime Pro for a readable Windows movie?

Thanks

There should be no problem emailing a 1Mb Quicktime file, or you could publish it on your web site, if you have one.
If your friend wants to view the Quicktime movie, they'll have to download Quicktime for Windoze. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
I hope this helps.
