Howdy:
I figured somebody on this forum would know.

The original PowerMac 6100/AV models had an extra monitor port and S-Video in and S-Video out on an expansion card. What software shipped with those models to do video capture and export, and what current software would work with a 6100/AV for importing from a video camera (capturing) and dumping via S-Video back out to the camera?

He can be fixed -- you can't.

Avid was used at the time. The video is very small and at a low frame rate. I thought it wasn't worth the time.
Don't know what would work now, but if upgraded to g3 maybe iMovie.

Once upon a time, I had a Quadra 840av. That computer was the first Mac to have AV technology built in. I seem to remember that it came with Adobe Premiere LE for editing. It also had a program called FusionRecorder for capturing video.

Don't expect to get very good quality with that computer. On my Quadra I was lucky to get 15 fps capturing in a small window.

Yep, Thunderbird's right.
My 7100/80 AV had FusionRecorder and Premier too. Very choppy and grainy with my old QuickCam, but way back then is was still pretty fun.
