Can't get iMovie 2 to empty trash. Get the message about how much is in the trash and how long it will take, but nothing happens. iMove freezes up and I have to force Quit with the Escape key.
Could the trash be too large? It had emptied it earlier before I let it grow to 900Mb.
Any suggestions?

Try closing other applications, or screen savers. Usually that does it for me. Now I run iMovie 2.01 and let the trash pile up to 1 or 2 gigs before I trash it on a PowerBook 500. Actually for me, software update usually screws up my system when it runs. Sometimes I forget to turn it off. When its not scheduled, things fly!
