Does anyone know if it is possible to edit 16/9 media on Premiere 5.1.c using FireWire.

Capturing 16/9 DV and sending it back to tape works fine, but any transition or title is dysplayed as 4:3 on the DV device.

I am ever more confused!
I can't even import 16x9 from my Sony Digital8, and whatever I do import, I can't export back to tape! Somebody, please! The option to print to tape is in the menu for export, but the option to export to tape is not!
Help me Obernard-i Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!

To edit 16/9 media through Premiere, open the program and select DV setting 760x570. Then go to Project>Settings>Video. Now change the size to 760x440 and you can edit in 16:9 format without the black bars. Good luck. BTW, I only know this to be true for Premiere 5.1c.

even easier!!

go thru the comprehensive tutorials at http://members.macconnect.com/users/...een/index.html

and remember that half the world uses PAL video, so you need to get your frame sizes correct!!!!!
