I've been tooling around with the idea of editing digital video to have a green "night vision" effect. So far the idea i've come up with, but haven't had the time to implement, is to monkey around with the color channels on a premeire filmstrip in photoshop to filter out the Red and Blue channels so only the green shows through. My results come out looking a little flat, i want to enhance that. any ideas or suggestions would be greatly apprieciated.

If you have Quicktime Pro, when you are saving the movie as quicktime, go into the quicktime options, select filters, select the colour tint, and mess around with dark and light colours of black and green, with varying contrasts and brightnesses depending on your source, also when I have played around with this in the past adding a movie styled night vision scope to the fottage with scrolling numbers and things like that can make a really nice looking night vision effect. Adding time codes with varying offsets is a good way to do it, very easy to do in final cut haven't used premeire. let me know how you go, I'd be interested to see the results.
