I saw this in the IBM - Microsoft version, is there anything like it in the Mac version? Or does any one know is there a web-cam software for the Mac? I have a Sony DV camera, what software do I need to hook up the camera to produce web watching.

Thanks. :o

If you want to webcast, you should take a look at Sorenson Broadcaster. You can download a demo. (OS9)
It costs $199 and works great if you have tthe bandwidth.

If you want to video conference there isn't anything else I know of that will work with a dv camera. They all seem to need dedicated webcams, although firewire ones are available.

Try a search on versiontracker with the term 'firewire', 'webcam' or 'webcast'

For web streaming (webcasting) CoolStream from www.evological.com does a real good job, and is cheaper than Sorensen. I've only used it for LAN broadcasting, but it worked well.

DV cam + Airport + Coolstream=portable live video feed anywhere in the building......
OS X: Where software installation doesn't require wizards with shields.

Do you want to do one-on-one conferencing?? Connect your Digi-Camcorder to any firewire socket, download any of the following. www.ivisit.com (free) or www.ispq.com (demo). Both of them work quite well my personal preference is ivisit 'cause its free Hope you manage to get the required result.

Thanks everyone.

Scotto I'd try ivisit.com. But cannot get my camcord to hook up - no pic. Any suggestion? Also, I checked out other suggested site, they all sound great.
