Trying to transfer from a Sony510 to a Canon ZR10 using a 4pin to 4pin connector we get nothing. Trying a ZR10 to ZR10 we get nothing. Hitting "play" on one and "record" on the other simply doesn't work. Nothing in the manual implies any special technique. I am suspecting the cable itself unless there is something basic I'm missing. It's not a matter of holding down two buttons or anything like that. Using the analog in on the Sony allows it to record from the Canon, but not using the 4pin to 4pin Firewire cable. Any suggestions?
