I'd like to put Quicktime 4.1 on my 2nd computer which doesn't have internet access. Let's say I download it onto my primary machine--how can I install it via floppy or ZIP? Which files need to be where, is it possible, etc?

assuming you wanted to do a similar install as your first computer... you may be able to copy the install cache and the actual install program to a ZIP and run it on the other. The other *brave and daring* option would be to copy all the extensions and control panels and distribute them yourself. I don't think this should be a headache since there aren;t any hidden files or anything... you would just have to make sure you get them all..

Nah, even easier - once downloaded, and installed, grab the installer and the file called "QuickTime Installer Cache" or "Installer Cache" or something.
Then use it as a normal installer.

Okay, I install Quicktime and now there are 52 items that i find that have quicktime in the title--which do install in my other machine? Surely not all 52!?!?

Hi

Why don't you just use the Standalone Installer
