I have QuickTime 5b18 installed on my computer. Ever since I updated from b15, i cannot watch QT streams from the Net.
For example I could go to:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/mwsf01/

Then I click on the link saying: Watch Now.
QuickTime Player opens, and it starts downloading the stream...it shows the countdown in seconds.
3s...2s...1s...then when it would stat showing he show it just quits itself, without any error messages at all.

This works with every QT stream on the Web.
Anyone experiencing this?

One more thing...if I go to Apple System Profiler it says that i have QuickTime 5b24....

I checked all the QuickTime components on my system, and all of them are b18 builds.

I've noticed that the Sorenson 3 codec has stopped working with b18 as well. Movies that I had previously encoded with Sor3 under QT Preview 3 just display a white screen. Movies encoded with Sor3 under b18 just display a white screen as well.
