Hardware Acceleration for FCP?

Hi.
Is there a way to accelerate FCP rendering process by adding third - party
gfx board (if yes - what models)?

Apple announced two hardware boards for FCP during the last Las Vegas NAB. Matrox is making one and Pinnacle is making the other. Both were quite impressive. I'm not sure when they are going to ship, or if they have allready.
