Hello

Is there an simple cheap way to compress the QuickTime movies made by a web cam, so that it is small enough to be e-mailed? The free RealVideo tool seems to have gone, and I there doesn't seem to be any free/shareware MPEG-1 or anything else tools on the Mac.

Is that right? Must I pay $30 for QuickTime to do this? (Its a shame that I can't just import it into iMovie).

QuickTime Pro is probably the best value. It really does much more than just what you are looking for. I find it very usefull.
