Hey

It isn't all that easy to do but with a little bit of practice you'll be ripping anything you want. http://www.macdivx.com/
Also you may be able to take a screen shot of the movies while its playing and print it.

i allready tryied takign screen shots of the DVD while playing (both in full screen mode and in a normal window). but what you get when you take the screen shot is the usually picuture file. the problem is, no matter what application i open it up in, all i see is the current frame of the DVD saved. Say for example i open up the screen shot in GraphicConverter, it will 'bleed' through and show me the DVD where i last lseft it. if I quit the DVD Player, then i just get a blank dark green area where the DVD was supposed to be.

so what exactly does MacDivX provide? will it help me accomplish my goal?

Also, try http://www169.pair.com/lukifer/dvd.html , it works for me. If you use DVDExtractor you'll need to mount the disk after ripping it, which you can do from the application. Not sure if there's a printscreen function, but this will at least rip the video...
