the option to export is greyed out, it's a 30 second clip from a Sony Digital Vid camera..
last night, the option wasn't greyed out, and I saw options to make it a 320 x 220(somethin' like that) web movie, email movie, etc.. currently it's over 120 MB, and that's not gonna cut it obviously.. the only thing I can think of as to why it wasn't greyed out last night, was that the camera was still attached, but this is even after the clip was saved on my hard drive.. and it's there now.. and when I open the file in iMovie(2.0.1), and I select it in the 'clips' section to the right, and go to file..there's no export.
what gives?
thanks for any help

Just started working with iMovie myself a few days ago. If you want to export your pictures or movie's move then down to the tray at the bottom then do your export thing. I had the same problem. They do not export from the clip storage tray on the right hand side of iMovie.
