Does anybody here edit mini dv on a Cube? I ask because thats what I hope to be doing, only I am thinking of a good cheap camera to get first.

Any advice appreciated.

I've made iMovies on my Cube.... worked just like I expected it to.

450 Mhz Cube, drive upgraded to a 45gig IBM mechanisim.

I've done video work on a cube and have never had a problem.

I use a Sony camera, but I'd hardly call them "cheap." A friend has a Canon that works fine too. They are considerably cheaper than the Sony models. The ZR-10 he has has been discontinued. I think the current model is the ZR-25.

Although I use digital 8 tapes with my Sony Camcorder, I'm sure Mini DVs will too (as long as you have FireWire hook-up).
