iPhoto w/OS9?

I was excited to see iPhoto announced but dissapointed to see that it (apparently) works only with Os X, and I'm still on 9.1.

Has anyone tried running iPhoto on OS9? I'm assuming it won't work, but I was thinking/hoping, maybe with CarbonLib, oh, well, I don't know -- maybe this will finally convince me to upgrade. (Maybe they'll also release an OS9 version, like iTunes? <fingers crossed> )
