I really need some help. I cannot use macster because my school has blocked it. I would appreciate someone suggesting another fast way to download for Macs. I have tried scouter. It is entirely too slow. I am getting aggrevated because my friends all have pc's and they seem to be able to download from scour and audiogalaxy. I can't download anything. Thank you.
I have the same problem with my school. I use Scouter, and it isn't too bad, and also have used Rapster, which uses servers other than Napster's. Of the two, I prefer Scouter.
You can also try Gnutella (Mac client is called "Mactella"). Although it isn't organized in any specific manner and has only a general name search, it is **HUGE** and is impossible to block because there is no centralized server. You can also search for stuff other than MP3's.... you name it, it's probably there.
