What do all these different formats mean? I have just started to get into DV, and am using miniDV in my classes, and it's sharp and clear, if the end product is TV, IMO.

But if you aspire to the big screen, then where do you go DV formatwise?

I guess I'm asking is for a sort of quality vs. price range of DV from miniDV up to George Lucas for the cameras and software. I'm not interested in actually getting up to George Lucas, but I would like to step up from miniDV.

The other question I have is what DV formats does FCP support?

SdC
