I just can't seem to be ale to convert/use the 15 second video clips from the camera.

Also: which of these is best?

Premier, Edit DV Unplugged, Imovie?

i also have the same problem, but using a sony S50. have tried quicktime 4 pro, quickeditor, but cant get it to save as something imovie or other video editing software will recognize - it would be nice to string together and edit (esp rotate 90 degrees, since i took some 15 second movies with the camera sideways),

any suggestions from the dv pros?

Rotate movie:

QuickTime Pro Player > Get Movie Properties > Select 'Video Track' in first local menu > Select 'Size' in second local menu

Save as self-contained movie.
